Young is gonna man 3rd more then any of you want him too. And mattingly will use the hot bat.but honestly hes taking hairstons and schumachers atbats and late inning double switch playing time more then anything.

Well it's not like Uribe mans 3rd everyday anyway. He gets lots of days off already. So young will probably start instead of Punto or Hairston most the time at 3rd.

I really see young basically as a replacement/upgrade to Hairston most of all.

Not sure why anybody is bitching, we gave up hardly nothing and he's way better than Hairston, win

Some one find the saber stat that defines clutch hitting then we can talk about this further

Young has a history of clutch hitting... even against us.. but against lots of teams in late innings

I fully agree that he's taking innings and AB's from Hairston/Punto as much or more than from Uribe.. so I'm good with that

Uribe is having a helluva year this year and even not counting the other night with 3 HR's Uribe has been way more than merely solid at 3B.

OK he's fat but when we rocks the carne asada burrito before the games he get's it done and I want his full fucking all out swings in there for every AB, unlike the paltry half assed lazy loopy swings that have been coming from Ethier/Crawford/Hairston/Punto etc.

Uribe does hack at the ball... but he swings hard all the time... and, fat or not, he's been awesome on D
