7 Home runs and 34 RBI in the last calendar year does not make one the team's best hitter. Granted he has been hurt but no one comes close to the consistency of AG. Adrian is by far the best hitter on the team.
AJ made a good point after the game as to why he got kicked out. He implied the umpire told him to present the pitches better, and Ellis told him it doesn't matter how he presents it, call the strikezone.
...and he's right, isn't he? If the ball crosses the zone , it should be a strike. It's not the umps job to monitor a catcher's methodology. Torre (who I think is still in charge of these jerkoffs) should do/have something to say about this big fucking time. They are getting worse and worse, and have been steadily for years. And although it may not be popular, iconic guys like Scully, who kiss their asses every chance he gets on how great they are, doesn't not help the growing situation.
so pissed after last night's game that i completely unplugged no laptop. no ipad, no phone... nothing then i wake up and see this...
He sucks at framing, but it isn't the ump's job to call balls/strikes based on framing. You call it based on how it goes over the plate, jackass.
Ellis pretty much sucks at everything...framing, hitting, throwing, sliding, catching, running, baseball, etc.
Well, all you Ellis haters can take a deep breath because Yasmani was activated and is batting 7th today.
