so dissatisfied with the way this team's playing i decided to try and change the mojo so instead of having a poll for how many games we'll win/lose... we'll have one for how many runs we'll score fun, right?...
Ryu looks to reverse Dodgers' fortune in Baltimore By AJ Cassavell | MLB.com April 18, 2013 / 3:26 AM ET Forgive the Dodgers and Orioles if they weren't too excited to see this weekend's Interleague series pop up on the schedule. Since its inception in 1997, Interleague Play hasn't been kind to either club. The Orioles have posted a 126-157 record, the worst in the American League. Los Angeles' 115-139 mark is only slightly better. The squads meet for the first of three on Friday night with left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu set to make his fourth start of the season for the struggling Dodgers, who have lost four straight. The rookie has won two starts in a row and is averaging more than a strikeout per inning on the year. Coming off a disheartening three-game sweep at the hands of San Diego, Los Angeles will need Ryu to continue to be a reliable part of its rotation. His slider has seen considerable improvement since Spring Training, allowing Ryu to use his out pitch -- the changeup -- a bit more frequently. "It's improved over the last couple of games," Ryu said of the slider. "I'm utilizing it more, especially against righties. I'm just getting into shape the way I would in Korea. Back to my normal form." Opposing Ryu is Orioles Opening Day starter Jason Hammel, who is coming off six solid innings against the Yankees on Saturday. Before Friday's game, however, Baltimore still has unfinished business with division-rival Tampa Bay. Those clubs meet for their series finale on Thursday. __
I'm gonna be away from a computer/TV all weekend which sucks cause I'd love to watch the Dodgers play at that beautiful park. I hope we win 2 out of 3, please! Please!
Haha, I'm in a club here at school and every year we have a retreat where we rent out a beach house in ventura for a weekend. No internet, no cable there but it's loads of fun. We take our phones but yeah.
U should sneak him a laptop so he can watch the games. Although that be considered cruel and unusual torture to some.
Hahaha, trying to stalk you to be honest. Yeah, this is one weekend I can get away from a Luis Cruz popup or Justin Sellers pulling bullshit Haha, we consume enough alcohol on this trip.
I used to love the Amish retreats, unfortunetely this fat Amish guy started some mafia and fucked shit up for us.
