There are things like death and divorce in the family that have been heart wrenching
But I cant think of anything someone has done to me that could not be easily reconciled
Or maybe I just don't give a shit so I don't remember lol

    didn't see what he said
but i share the growing weary part
we just know too much about these guys and what they think these days, no mystery
i will still follow because of habit i guess but not if davey is back
not as serious as @huh? but i won't watch like i normally would
watching the Lakers but my hearts not in it and the same w the rams
Dodgers have been my go to for all my life and kind of the last sports thing i truly care about
was a time my life revolved around it but in the end it just doesn't really matter does it?

i hope like hell it stays that way my friend
but as most of these guys would probably tell you its the people closest to us that hurt us the most
they have proximity and knowledge no one else has and we never see it coming
again i hope it never happens to you but the odds are it probably will
won't kill you but it certainly gives you a different perspective on things

I would like to see a Machado benching and some planting of negative stories by the front office to affect his free agency. He'll still be a millionaire, but a couple less would be nice

thing is its not like we sit here and monday morning armchair quarterback
it was HIGHLY predictable what ultimately came to fruition and we all saw it coming but davey
he can say the POTUS is one mans opinion and he's not privy to everything about this team
but a group of guys on the internet and all the Dodger fans paying attention are
and that didn't need to happen
Urias should have faced moreland and Baez should have been first in
once you saw him going to Kenley for six outs everyone knew (even if we prayed for a miracle) that it was over

You don’t really need to plant negative stories. They already exist.

and like, even if Madson had some good body language or something.. it's Ryan fucking Madson lol. You can kinda understand when Roberts tried squeezing everything out of Morrow cause Morrow had disgusting stuff. Madson has a straight fastball you have to pray he's throwing hard and a changeup. His ERA was above 5 for a reason

the "31-2 when a team is leading by 4+ in the 7th or later in a World Series" with the 2 losses by last night and game 5 last year is fucking incredible. When @THINKBLUE posted it, I swore he had to be mistaken

speaking of reading body language, I was in the RF pavilion and the one player I saw who looked emotionally and physically livid after the Madson home run, Jansen home run, and game winning single, was Puig. I mean, I have no idea what was going on and what he was saying but he was putting his arms up in the air and super upset. Also had this weird moment right when Wood came in when Puig was ranting to Cody about something in CF, wood was ready to get started, and Puig was walking back to his position almost defiantly. It means nothing, or means everything, just thought I'd share.

i saw him in the dugout and he was despondent no question
must have been like making your first million and finding out your wife has spent two
whoops i went back to the people closest to you thing
how about like a self imposed tax on the team since we were being selfish w momentum?
i was saying last night that every player on that team had to know dave fucked them
    31-2 is his legacy

He's tired of his teammates and manager choking while he gets a bunch of shit from the media for no reason.

'Wouldn't be surprising, right? I wonder if he gets more upset at Roberts or his teammates, if not both. Upset at his decisions or his teammates who shit on him and they turn around and choke away the most important games. Having to hear Kershaw want him traded off the team only to have to watch that guy blow games... having to hear Jansen lecture on preparation, when hes blown more saves than any closer in the world series. Not that Puig is hitting .600/.800/.900 in the playoffs but least he gives a shit out there and has some amazing moments in big spots. I know I'm probably giving more blame to pitchers than hitters or managers when they've all fucked up but you look at our worst losses in the playoffs (Last night, Game 2 and 5 last year, Game 1 and 6 of the NLCS in '16, Cardinals games...) and it always involves Kershaw/Jansen/Tired reliever fucking blowing it. Idk. Who cares I guess. Big part of me that knows that Roberts will get extended, Kershaw will come back, we'll do all of this again in a year. At least we have DSP to rant, for those of us who stay on here after Roberts gets extended lol
