The Dodger players seem to disagree. Matters not what I think in reality.

    Still new here?

EVERY conversation on DSP degrades into a Racist conversation sooner rather than later.

My logic is vs LHP I'm fine with Kiké in CF and Howie at 2B. Which means we need two COF, one I guess can be SVS, even though though I'm not thrilled about that. Also could in theory play Joc in CF and Kiké in right which sucks kinda. I'd like to get at least one guy who slugs LHP, like a Ruggiano type, maybe two.

Intelligence has nothing to do with numbers, or who just so happens to have included them in an article. CK would pitch like himself to even you, which would definitely force him to pitch downstairs in the zone, so to speak..... ;)

Ignorance list? Yeah, you're already at the top of it.

Well it appears that they did agree last night we agree.

Now they need to sack the fuck up and act like professionals...

We're in a damned pennant race cutting ballast and losing a loser was the right move.

In fact that reminds me to head over to the Front Office thread and bump my Nerdco score a half point

The Grandal contingency argument has merit. The he was a bad backup C and it was costing us games has none. The best vs the worst backup catcher over a month is probably worth .2-.3 wins tops

    Because he's a Pro.

    Plain and simple.

By the time CK returns AJ will be long gone and none of the emotional outbursts and teeth gnashing will matter.

Great post...reads like intelligent, honest feelings that are totally valid, imo.
But with some, to feel anything else but completely and utterly OK with it, immediately, means ridicule.
    Pretty sad, really.

You mean SVS for the post season?
Because he's done for the reg-season.

times 6 months = the precise amount of games we're in front.

Which means if this trigger was pulled/ bandaid ripped off at the beginning of the season we'd be 4-5 games in front.

If Ruiz buys us an extra 2-3 wins per season then hallelujah and serve the bacon already

Yeah, his 4.5MM club option is a no brainer for LAD to pick up.
Even if they want to go younger, pick up the option and trade him later.
Contrary to what some believe, Ruiz can still play the game.
Not everyday, but 60 games next season..bet your ass.

Marlon Byrd kills left handers. KILLS them.
    So do Danny Valencia.
But if we want to shore up the infield and get a guy who can hit lefties decently there is a guy out there recently DFA'd but folks may not like it.
    Jimmy Rollins.
He can play 2B against lefties so we can keep Howie in LF and Kike in CF.
We lose a lot of power but gain some old man speed and grit plus added chemistry since he is an ex Dodger and part of that Philly trend in the clubhouse.
Look at his stats vs lefties. That can play.
And would allow us to not need an emergency SS for Seager.
