They were trying to break new ground by having a woman broadcast which is fine and dandy, except she spent 98% of the time talking about softball. And Smoltz spent most of his time talking about when he was playing and talking about softball as well. I don't get too much into EVERY person who supports a candidate but I saw the Papa John's Owner prominently posing with Romney. I am realistic enough to know that there isn't a perfect candidate but Obama is closer to what I believe in than Romney. For the record I am independent but ever since an African American was elected I have become so aware of the subtle racial overtones the last 4 years. It's just me I am sure.

I don't know what to say about the total zeroes of Kemp and Ethier, who for a combined total of one quarter of a BILLION dollars, can't get a fucking flair single even...either of them, in the most important series of the season so far. Yeah the Ellis twins may have sucked, but what do you expect? Mark Ellis had a horrendous year last season so what does Ned do? Let's give him a two year contract! I really have no hope when he steps into the box. Maybe a single here and there, but that's about it. I'm not too mad at AJ he's hard to get mad at. The real douches last night were Kemp and Ethier. So sick of these two getting put on a pedestal above the rest of the team. "Our all star outfielders needed another middle of the order bat to complement them". Well guess what, they're not playing like all stars during this stretch. Hell, Ethier hasn't played like an all star since May. What really pisses me off is Kemp. Sure, he can hit in games that don't really matter (Miami, New York, Pittsburgh) but when we're going to need him (Atlanta, Frisco) he's awful. He hasn't even gotten a hit in like 4-5 days against these two tough teams that we need to take 2-3 from. Hopefully both of them get back on track because this team isn't going anywhere if they don't perform.
