    Everyone's drinking the Cubs koolaide and the even year thing can't be ignored although I looking at alphabet soup to be a bust and Cueto to get hurt.

    The staff at Fangraphs did predictions too and the Dodgers were heavy favorites to win the West.

    Seems like every time these "experts" all pick the same team it never works out. How many years in a row did they all schlob on the Nats?

    Predictions by the "experts" are very often laughable and failures...but if you have to be drinking kool aid to like the Cubs, wtf do you have to be drinking to pick the Dodgers?
    Or schlob on the Dodgers ? That hasn't worked out a whole bunch of times, either...

    Guggs jumping the shark. Watching that channel nobody has right now and the bottom scroll is promoting "LGBT night"? :giants:

    New primary sponsor is some Arab airline? Count me out for the opening day flyover :terrorist:

    Advertising on foul poles now? Not enough giant rectangle ads on that wall that used to be blue? Not enough LED signage? What about the giant hexagon ads over the bullpens? Not enough? 9 billion dollar TV deal and #1 attendance, yet you have to sell more wall ads than any team in baseball.?

    Parking quickly back to 20 dollars I see. Worse than ol Frank.

    Can they at least invest in something decent to eat at the stadium? Or do we have to eat more heatlamp pizza that takes the "chef" 20 minutes to serve.

    Again, no Dodgers on TV. Kasten ' s comments on the matter this afternoon on the radio were worthy of termination. Pathetic blow hard.

    Ugh. I'm gonna steal an old line from that senile douche Al Davis. Just win baby. It's the only way I can stomach Guggs' BS!

    But...but...but....didn't Kasten publically state that he was going to squeeze every fucking bloody penny from every which way imaginable from the Dodgers? Did he leave out the part about seeing the Dodgers on TV in CA is a pipe dream? "Go fuck yourselves"... now and for all time.
    So, what does anyone expect from this poor guy...didn't he do exactly what he said he would? Or wouldn't?
    And out of curiousity, what are in-stadium hosts, and what do they do? They're guys?

    Agree about the Giants pitching. I don't like Cueto or Samardjzahaha at all. They have a really good offense imo, and a solid young infield. But really no depth to speak of.

    The d backs aren't going to miraculously make up 10 games in the standings from last year. And again, no depth to speak of.

    The Cubs though....I don't see how they lose less than 95 games. They're stacked. No koolaid. Just a damn good team.

    i know i'm gonna get some hate for this
    but i don't see us a clear nlw favorites as most
    the giants got better with cueto and smarjvagina
    and the dbags with zack and shelby
    the argument that they mortgaged their future may be legitimate, in fact, i would agree
    i just don't see how that computes to the present
    as for us, seems like were banking on a lot of if's
    if maeda is as good as advertised (to be fair, he's looked great so far)
    if wood is as good as some believe (jury still out imo)
    if ryu comes back
    if mehcarthy comes back
    if puig can be effective
    if grandal can be effective... and healthy
    maybe the experts are right
    or maybe they're not
    i'm not panicking
    but i am concerned
    say what you want, the giants and dbags have definitely closed the gap
    enough to pass us?

    every team does
    i'm just not 100% sold we're a 92-94 win team as being forecast by some
    i felt a lot more confident/optimistic last year tbh
    again not panicking, just concerned
