A lot of "old school" people probably don't want him in the ASG. I will have to pass on the derby though.

Multiple people from ESPN and with the Dodgers heard he'll be on the Final Vote.

I think he should be in because he's simply done more with less time than most of the NL.

Joe DiMaggio's first full month in the major leagues was June 1936, and based on it, he made the 1936 All Star Game. I'm not saying Puig will be the next Joe DiMaggio, but even Joe DiMaggio wasn't yet Joe DiMaggio in June 1936. So there is a precedent. Let Puig play.

Adjustments are being made by the league. Last nights golden sombrero highlighted his BA dropping 40 pts in 4 days. No more "I dare you" fastballs down the middle. Now it's " do you know the zone" pitches that he hasn't laid off and is getting himself out. His ability to adjust is going to decide how good he really is.

He has a higher WAR than Dom Brown. If only Puig would have came up in April, been replacement level terrible for two months, and then went on this tear. Then he'd be in, I suppose.

    Agree to a certain extent.

He wasn't getting many if at all fastballs down the middle, he was getting pitched outside constantly. He continued to hit the away stuff and Bumgarner was throwing inside and made him look foolish. Bum got him on the first K with a nasty pitch, the 2nd and 3rd K's was more him being stupid and trying to murder a ball over the bay completely. The 4th K by Romo was a delicious hanger that he just missed.

The league is going to adjust to him and pitch more inside and he does need to adjust.
