Fuck yea, take the MVP away from that bitch. I'm glad Kemp said this and support him 100%. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/story/_/id/9503700/ryan-braun-lose-mvp-award-matt-kemp-says
And it would have meant more coming from anyone other than the MVP runner up... Not that we can really expect Ethier to step up for his teammate here any more than when he's on base
Have you seen Manny this year? Last week they showed him playing foreign minor league ball and he's completely bald...
Kemp didn't say he himself deserves the MVP, he just said he doesn't think Braun deserves it. Personally, I think Braun should keep it, but I have no problem with what Matt said.
Nicely down Passan. This guys is scum and deserves to be portrayed as such. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ryan-braun-doped--lied-and-cared-only-for-himself-050550708.html
totally agree Max Scherzer: Ryan Braun's PEDs punishment not tough enoughBy Tom Gage, The Detroit News | July 23, 2013 at 7:07 pmTigers pitcher Max Scherzer says Ryan Braun's suspension for his involvement in performance-enhancing drugs 'doesn't fit the crime yet.' Scherzer says Braun, banned for 65 games, should have drawn a longer suspension. (Robin Buckson/Detroit News)Chicago — Max Scherzer is glad Ryan Braun “got caught.”And, he’s glad Braun got suspended for his involvement with performance-enhancing drugs. What he’s not happy about, though, is Braun wasn’t suspended long enough.“When you intentionally cheat this game by using PEDs, the punishment doesn’t fit the crime yet. I don’t think 50 games is enough,” the Tigers pitcher said of Braun, who was suspended 65 games Monday by Major League Baseball after admitting he “realizes now that I have made some mistakes” after insisting he was innocent.“You can still benefit financially from doing it. Until we get rid of that incentive, it won’t be the day we get rid of PEDs.”Scherzer, who is 14-1, said that as a player, he wants to believe the system works.“But obviously, he found a way around it and he never came clean,” Scherzer said. “He got caught red-handed, though, but when he got caught, he tried to question the ability of the (sample) collector.“Because of how brash he was against MLB, that’s why there is so much player outrage toward him. I’m glad he got caught.”So, what kind of penalties does Scherzer endorse?“Obviously we thought we were doing well when we thought we were going to clean the game with 50- and 100-game suspensions,” Scherzer said. “As players, we are fed up with that. That’s why we want to see either longer suspensions or a way to take the financial incentive away from players. That’s why you are seeing more players jump on board about the punishment not fitting the crime yet.“For me, it’s just not long enough. For somebody who cheated the game as badly as he did, it doesn’t seem right. For people who intentionally cheat, I have no sympathy.”Scherzer, an alternate player rep for the Tigers, said he’s also bothered by Braun’s claims he was innocent.“If MLB wants to pursue a double offense on that,” Scherzer said, “I’m with you.” __
Getting more support from the Players' Union on drug testing would go a long way in eradicating the steroid problem.
exactly the point made previously if enough members display outrage then it moves the unions position albeit ever so slightly
Eva Braun was no worse that this POS. At least she took her medicine after she made her bed. My order of scumbastic Braun's goes like this, worst first : 1) Ryan "Racoon" Braun 2) Wernher Von Braun 3) Eva Braun
