careful lad... Fordie just self banned himself from game threads DURING the games...

There is the entire empirical likelihood that DBB WILL NEVER be able to show us "he CAN MANAGE in this series"... in fact as a betting man I'm not expecting to read much from you for a long long while based upon DBB's moronic play calls

Sorry to see you go... ... we'll look for you on other threads...

I do think they will win 1 of the games...

I DONT get why is DBB moving CK when these are games that matter... I get it if you want to push him a day, but take him out of the series?

Because CK has looked a bit off, this gives him a bit more rest, and lines him up a bit more comfortably for Game 1 of the NLDS.

if we have any chance of exiting our doldrums and doing something in the post season dbb will steal it away.
pitching to pence, goldschmidt, bunting uribe so buss could hit, kemp etc. and thats just the last two games.
its going to be glaring in a playoff series.

Everyone needs a champion at some point in their life. You have served as Donnie's admirably.
I commend you for creativity in the face of mind-boggling moves which have pretty much utterly completely failed of late.
Donnie has written the book on all-in bad moves . It's the second volume, with a dedication by HoF manager, Joe Torre.

Haha, I'm far from a full on 100% supporter of him, if you read the game thread you can read my thoughts on the stupidity behind the bunt and the lineup decisions.

And for what it's worth, I don't think pushing back Kershaw is 100% Donnie's decision, something like that has to come from him, Honeycutt, and upper management. I don't know that for a fact, but I mean it'd guess something that drastic would have to come with the agreement of upper management.

I'm alright with pushing Kershaw back. Worried about the lineup and the bullpen.

2 out of the next 3 isn't out of the question. I still think the clinch in AZ.

Really hope Kemp gets a start today, perfect opportunity for him to start... If his ankles/hammies are up to it of course

Mattingly said he's going to remain a PH until the medical staff clears him to play.

why the fuck was he activated if he isn't ready to play?
impossible to get a rhythm when you get one ab a game and it's against one of the other team's better relievers
yeah those three pitches he got yesterday really got him going
    fucken idiots

You're right in that he will not get going without regular play but then again what are the alternatives if he's not medically cleared to play? More AZ instructional league simulated games I'd guess? No minor leagues to rehab in right now is fucking shit up.

    i think more simulated games
not the greatest alternative, but better than sitting on his ass and maybe getting 1 ab a game :nerd:

    simply amazing
    • Looking to get the Dodgers back on track Tuesday will be Zack Greinke, who is unbeaten in his last nine starts, going 6-0 with a 1.58 ERA during that span.
