I'm trying not to get attached to any of the kids on the farm right now, but man will I be bummed if they move any of Verdugo, Bellinger or Calhoun. All have answered the call to aggressive promotions and each have serious value going forward to this team. I just hope that if they move any of them, it is for someone that puts this club to the top. I could part with anyone not named Urias on the pitching side, but these 3 kids really excite me as they all play positions where needs are coming soon(OF,1B,2B).

Some names that I would expect to be dealt if the team does make any trades:
Stewart, Oaks, De Jong, Cotton, Rios, Garlick, Sborz. All except Cotton are sell high candidates and could be used to make the front end of the trade a little lighter.

Colorado you know how I feel about prospects but I would trade their ass in a second for a proven vet that can help us win a chip.

If they moved them for someone good and we won, fuck yeah I won't care. If they move one of those guys for anyone outside of Braun that is currently rumored to be available, I'll probably be pissed. The going rate for players is stupid expensive right now. Thanks a lot Dave's Dumbo and Stewart

.300/.361/.465, 11 HR's, 45 Ks, 27 BB in 303 ABs and he just turned 20, it's time for him to go to OKC and see what he's got there. This kid can absolutely hit and his D is solid too. I'm putting the cart before the horse here, but if he can continue to put up solid numbers in AAA, the answer to the LF may be in the organization and not very far away from being ready. He is not going to be a middle of the order bat, but he looks like the perfect complimentary piece to bat in front of Corey. God I hope he is not traded.....

Speaking of probably needing a promotion, Edwin Rios is murdering HiA pitching, he may be in AA by the end of this season... or sentence.

AA has been considered a pitchers league so what he's doing is incredible. Too lazy to look but anyone post what JDL did? 10 K's in 5 2/3 throwing 102 pitches against Reno.

I'm gonna be pretty pissed if they trade JDL, Bellinger, Verdugo, Holmes or Calhoun for any rental (that includes Chapman, a rental reliever isn't worth it when they are probably playing for the WC game).

That is why I am shocked when scouts still have him ranked as low as they do. I think Keith Law(WHO I CAN'T STAND) is the only one that has him in or around the Top 20 players in the league. He will probably never be a Top 10 guy due to his "lack of power", but he should be a Top 30 prospect in the league right now with the way he is racking in a known pitchers league at the mere age of 20.

I love Keith Law (some homo). I know he can be snarky and comes off as a know-it-all but I love it.

    Calhoun hit #'s 18 and 19 tonight.

Edwin Rios continues to be terrible, just hit #14 with Rancho, but has taken him a whole 34 games (slacker). That puts him at 20 in 69 games this year. Aside from his fantastic numbers thus far, he is K'ing a bunch and that could lead to some struggles at the next level. Good thing is that the team has been using him at 3B where some folks think he could be passable some day.

Rios and Calhoun are two dudes who seem to have been overlooked because of unattractive size and shape. They don't seem to have the type of body you'd want in a player I guess but damn do they hit the fuck out of the ball

Their D was also generally regarded as atrocious at both 2B and 3B. At least Calhoun has been said to be working very hard at improving at the position. I have not heard that about Rios, just that he looks passable now at 3B. Rios would be another huge get for the club if he could continue to grow, that would be a powerful IF of Bellinger, Calhoun, Seager and Rios... but it's also a big IF in a different way.
