There was no insult in my response, just your cunt come away from it. That's an insult, because you deserve it. Talk about a discussion...anything with you ends with some egomaniacal mantra on how no one knows the world like you do, or how they need to get down and get the grass roots experience to be able to discuss with you. You get insulted even when a person isn't trying to insult you.
And your geriatric remark just shows how purely pathetic you are...demeaning someone because of when they were born. And I basically don't drink at all, so there's another subject and conclusion you came to that is as wrong as most of your dead, phony shit.
You like to claim you walk the higher morale ground, but true to your ilk, you're just another bottom feeder.
Maybe one day we'll run into each other, and you can insult this old man to his face.
Oh, and let me be the first to wish you a Merry fucking Christmas.
Oh, sorry...gotta be pc when in a dialogue with you...Happy fucking Holidays.

If that Kenley report is true, and I assume it is, then why wouldn't he just go with the Marlins then?
He knows the Dodgers aren't going to give him that, no chance, so he's basically telling them adios.
    Why the charade?

Wow. I read this last night but thought I dreamt it. If he's that stupid maybe we shouldn't sign him at any price. My goodness. 150 million? This is a joke, right?

No doubt there's grounds to criticize how the FO spends team money. We agree and disagree on some of those points. But my comment was more directed towards the blanket idea that we should outbid everyone for everyone, that we should be spending more than we already are. We are blessed to have a team that can spend so much money, but we still have a spending limit. And when we have outspent everyone by a considerable margin the past 3 years, it's hard for me to complain about that bottom line. The spending limit (whatever it may be) is why we criticize how the money is spent.

I don't think anyone is really advocating outbidding everyone for everybody...I'm not anyway.
I just think we take a huge step down without Kenley...looking at the years of NLW championships...how vital was he in it all? We need him more than even JT, imo. I'd rather see an alternatove to JT than Kenley....
But this report makes him on the lunatic fringe...who knew? Like TB wrote...it seems like a joke.
    Fuggedaboudit then...

They overspend for shit, over and over, then refuse to pay (collectively) less on proven, durable talent. Then they balk at having the highest payroll in MLB, lose in the post and neglect the GLARING holes that caused the losses, year after year. The G'nats were laser focused on what they actually needed and just got it, without fanfare, without drama, without a BS corporate red tape mentality and without "Cuteness". The Red Sox did what they needed to do as well.... Boom! Done! I cringe at the thought of Buck and Smoltz slobbering on their knobs on TV next October.

They personify the AA definition of insanity and they're STUPID!

Doesn't matter which FO signed them Pedigree Players are what they are mediocre players are what they are. But it's a proven fact over and over risky players hurt you more often then help you in the long run but even risky players want big money or more like the market dictates big money.

So far it looks like Jansen is gone and JT. How are we improving?

Last year we lost Grienke. How did that work out for us ?

We traded to Get Hill losing some more quality young players ect.....

How different could it have been if we had Kershaw
    Grienke
    Hill
    Maeda

I think the Nerds are good in what they are doing and inherited a big mess from the last FO, which I don't understand why he is an advisor and not fired.

Either stop yanking my Dick and go full rebuild mode or sign the quality players that we need to get to the next level and win.

The dead weight will drop soon enough. But stop signing projects because they do add up with this team.

Since we got all these young studs let's see what they can do mixed in this team.

Bring in JDL ect better then million dollar man projects

    All players are risky players.
    Some more than others.
MehCarthy could very well be a Rich Hill next season. We saw him be dominant in july for 2-3 games before the yips got him.
His body seems to be back, but his mind doesnt know it.

And as much as everyone hates Kazmir he was pretty good for a couple of stretches during the season where we needed him. For half the year he was a 3.50 ERA pitcher, for the other half a 5.50 ERA pitcher.
Which means that he does have the ability to be the guy he was before his surgery.
At least as good as he was in OAK and the stint in Cleveland.
Many teams would like Kazmir at 11M which is what we paid him last year.
Next year at 16M not so much...
