    According to John Perrotto of Todays Knuckleball, Roberts’ performance swayed the opinion of an NL executive:

    “I’ll be honest, I wasn’t too impressed with him early in the season,” an NL executive said of Roberts. “I thought he was a little bit overmatched and maybe a little too nice of a guy for the job but he’s really provided a real steady hand. He’s really growing into the job and he’s going to be very good at it for a long time.”​

    Boring as you may think it is, and it may well be to many others, also I'd love a team of Coreys, all week long and twice on Sundays.
    Then maybe, we'd get rid of this loser yoke that's been around our necks for almost 3 decades.
    Know what's boring..? watching our arch enemy and some other team play for the championship every year, imo. That's boring for me, anyway.
    I'll take 8 Seagarbots and quiet excellence every season, every game.
    Baseball fun is winning, too.
    I could care less about bat flips or some other performance.

    It has always amazed me how the media ridicules Puig for his antics and praises Bumgarner for being a douchebag. He's just a doesn't take any shit country boy while Puig is an immature idiot. Even studs like Harper who certainly help their team win have been ridiculed for not playing the "right way".

    I kind Corey to be very exciting tbh. Maybe I am more excited by the fact that he's 22 and this good more than the way he conducts himself.
