    Craig has been terrible this year after years of getting worse, and Joe Kelly is weird but damn, that's pretty crazy. That's still some damn value that idk how we woulda beat

    I also don't think Lackey is some ace. Nuts nuts nuts

    The Red Sox are playing this so different and I think it's gonna pay off. They have a solid foundation for a rotation in Clay, Rubby, Webster, Kelly and I forget who else. Still have Pedroia and Ortiz. Young studs in Boegarts and Jackie Bradley, Jr. Adding upside with Yoenis and Craig. And oh yeah, they have money to buy a pitcher in the offseason and recreate a bullpen

    That's not close to an equivalent for Kelly/Craig considering age/salary/upside.

    He's on MLB Network, he just fucking yells and yells. He's like a sports radio idiot but on my screen. I don't know why I'm watching... my FOX Sports 1 channel isn't working and ESPN is talking NFL

    I just saw that John Lackey has a club option for the league minimum in 2015, if he missed significant time 2010-14 due to injury. Because he missed the 2012 season, the club option has kicked in. Speculation is he will retire, BUT if he wants to continue playing the Cardinals have him at $500k next year.

    What a bizarre option.
