    Damn, the A's gave up Cespedes. I have to think there were some team issues. I know Jonny and his brother Joey pretty well and what Jonny brings to the table in terms of chemistry is incalculable.

    From the reports I've seen, there were no chemistry issues with Cespedes. Actually they are the opposite, that he was a key to the clubhouse unity. This is just the A's going ALL IN

    Benoit would be a great get, as he is good. His salary next year is 8 mil, with a 2016 8 mil club option (1.5 club option)

    So much money in the bullpen but I guess on the flip side, maybe that makes him cheaper prospect wise

    Yup, still have prospects for Lackey. Masterson isn't that good and they have a deep farm. In fact, Masterson is more dangerous IMO as a playoff ROOGY (He's terrible versus lefties)
