    Dodgers didn't do anything.

    I'm still cool with the team. Better to do nothing then overpay, I guess. We don't have an equivalent to what teams gave up for Price, Lester, Lackey.

    The relievers, we coulda probably gotten Miller for a good starter prospect? Idk.

    Like I said, the AL teams got much better. Get to the World Series then worry about it. I do wish we woulda done it but looks like other teams made better better offers.

    Now we gotta pray Wilson/League do well down the stretch. Can't just have JP/Kenley as our reliable relievers

    this situation reminds me of when we had early Kemp/Kershaw. Every trade offer was for them, including Martin/Ethier/Loney/Bills/Broxton as other pieces.

    Didn't mean to sound like such a pessimist in my A's/Tigers comment. Just find it scary that two teams who were already very good and a threat to win a WS just added aces

    Yep, agree. Get there first. The Cardinals got Lackey, but they gotta beat the Pirates/Cards first. The Giants got, what, Jake Peavy? Meh. Our path to the playoffs is clear and we still have August. Our lineup is fucking good if Kemp is gonna hit and all we need is one of Ethier, Crawford, or SVS to be hot at the moment

    I'm not mad. The bullpen is gonna kill us but looks like some teams stupidly kept their relievers
