    Tampa getting Franklin and Smyly makes me think we could have gotten Price by just giving up Joc, lee, and reed.

    I think the Mariners did great here. Trading Nick Franklin for Austin Jackson is a sweet deal.

    It doesn't matter if Joc wasn't offered. And reports suggest the Dodgers weren't offering any of their top-3 prospects.

    Yeah, it hurts to be honest. But it hurt a lot more thinking Detroit didn't even give up a decent prospect. That guy is their #1 prospect

    Tampa got fucked so hard, I'm so pissed!!!

    and than Miami trades a better package than Tampa got for Price, for Jared Cosart, wtf!!!

    I don't know what's comparable. Lets say we say Pederson = Franklin, we can argue Pederson is better but it's less of a need for the Rays who have Jennings, Myers and a top CF prospect already.

    We don't have someone comparable to Smyly or Adams. Adams is young but fast rising, lets say something beating that is Urias who is much more highly touted but pitchers are crazy.

    So we're at Pederson + Urias, which is maybe better but who knows if they even wanted Pederson but also has more risk for the Rays so maybe needa add a third piece? Seager+Urias gets it done also? That's probably it, meanwhile adding Lee or Guerrero, idk.

    Lots of hypotheticals of course and who knows how these teams rate these guys

    Lots of trades this deadline involved guys who were MLB proven, makes me wish Guerrero was up already to see what he's got and if he did well he coulda been a legit trade piece.
