If you are into things just because they are "forbidden fruit" then that's a problem. Nothing good can come from that. People want what they can't have because: a) they don't know what they really want, or b) they don't think they can actually get what they want. It's convenient and safe to think you can't get this girl because she's your bro's ex, that's an exterior problem you have no control over. In reality that excuse is fabricated. You need to take control of the situation and own it however you can. And that doesn't just go for this crush, but for life in general.
