The swifter is for the lazy, it is not for somebody who actually wants clean floors.

I have had a swifter for many years.

I used to have hard wood floors in my bedroom - hated it. Not only does carpet feel nicer on the feet in the morning, you can also just vacuum that shit. With hard wood you eventually have piles of dust and junk under your bed.

Last night, Vinny had a gem with the story about Columbe's grandfather as a crew member in a B- 17 in WW II...the bomber picked up a German fighter tailing them when they were headed back after being crippled.
And the pilot just let them go back without firing at them. Reunited with each other years later. An amazing story and truly fascinating...a great Vin yarn.Worth the price of admission.
    Maybe my favorite ever,

Yooo @N.Z. and I know others that have been to New Zealand. I've planned a trip to New Zealand and wanted any advice! I had it booked awhile back but shit came up and was gonna have to cancel but now for sure I'm going, will be there from 18-28 of this month. I'll be in Auckland, Rotorua, and Wellington.

Any advice at all, anything else, such as what not to say to not get my ass kicked

Going to NZ? You lucky, lucky bastard.
My uncle, who was in the Merchant Navy for years and years, and had been around the world many times, said it was "the best place on earth".

Whatever you do, don't arrive at the airport and yell out "Fuck New Zealand and everyone in it!!" Big mistake on my part... :p

Honestly I've only ever been to Auckland airport cause I have to fly into NZ and back to Australia for visa reasons so it's always just basically a layover trip. I did stay in Christchurch for about 5 days once but didn't see shit all there cause it was just after the huge earthquake there and the place was a ghost town.

I'll actually be in Auckland airport some time at the end of this month so I might see you there hahaha In a few months I'll have to go out to Auckland again for a few days so I'll need to find out what the fuck there is to do around there myself haha Good luck man hope you have a fucking blast mate!! Maybe @N.Z can shed some more light on this for you but I'm not sure what part of NZ he lives in.

Auckland is more Indian or Chinese than New Zealand, Rotorua smells like arse (seriously, geothermal city) and Wellington is Windy.

No real advice, winter here so pack some warm clothes I guess. How are you getting around? I'm about two hours out of Wellington, pretty cool town. Seems you're sticking to the North Island. Most tourists head to the South Island, it's a bit more like how New Zealand used to be. But yeah, where are you staying and shit?

If you're mobile by car you should definitely stop by here on the way to Welly's and catch a Dodger game.

Stayin in hotels right in the middle of each city. It's three days in Auckland, two days in Rotorua, 3 days in Wellington, one more day in Auckland then we do a day in Fiji. I heard Rotorua smells like shit lol, and yeah. We have a car for Auckland/Rotorua but don't have one for Wellington cause we're gonna fly there.

Is it true Wellington has been hit with a Mexican food craze? Heard it's become very popular there so we want to go and give it our seal of approval.

Also, yeah we heard South Island was the place a lot of ppl go right now but the people I'm tagging a long with, whatever they did to get this trip that's pretty much where it had them go.

You'll have a blast. I go to Auckland for big concerts and stuff, not a huge fan of big cities but it has its moments. Sky Tower Casino is always fun in central Auckalnd (not just gambling, the atmosphere and shows at night are well worth dropping a hundy or two) even as an American you will feel out-of-place though lol. At least 75% Chinese gambling addicts. There's an indoor snowboarding facility that's always fun and beginner friendly on the North Shore. Plenty to do, but winter kind of prohibits some of it.

I suggest the Skyline Gondala in Rotorua. Got a mean luge you can have some mean races with friends on there. I'd head south to Taupo and check it out maybe. Lots of natural volcanic sites around there, if that floats you boat. Rotorua has some scum, so just be careful not to walk home at night and shit. I'm guessing it's probably pretty tame compared to some parts of L.A though haha.

Got friends that travel from here to Wellington for Mexican. I doubt they can compete with you Americans when it comes to food though haha.

Kind of a shitty time of year to come weather wise heh. Won't be snowing or anything, just gloomy and windy. PM me if you have any questions.
