Can't get into Ballers. There are some interesting moments, but I think I need to see more of the show.

Last nights True Detective was pretty good, though. Way better than the first episode.

I'm stunned they got to use NFL logos and teams, considering the subject matter.

Also, Denzel Washington's kid can act.

    agreed
the first season took off right out of the gate
had to in order to get people interested
but these first two episodes were all about developing the characters
colin farrell and vince vaughn are impressive as fuck
i knew both could act, but they're really good in their respective roles
when farrell went from begging and pleading with his ex to [snap] downright rage, it was scary
really weird how the show ended last night -- personally i think it's a mind fuck
no way they'd kill him off two episodes in, right? :scratchchin:
and vaughn plays that sociopathic dick so well
but for me... rachel mcadams apparent porn addiction
now there's a chick i could get behind <pun intended

somewhat unrelated, i thought this was funny...

Haha, thanks for falling in the trap and answering.

BTW, you're 5 years younger than me, are you still considering yourself a kid? Run along, the Angels need your "help".

It says you're 31 on here and I'm 22. That's a 9 year difference by my complex mathematical equation. Luv maths

If you have a problem with me just go ahead and DM me and we'll talk about it since you are basically the only one complaining on this board.

The idea of marijuana as a gateway drug is total BS, which is partly what you are implying in your post. Someone who is addicted to a drug is typically addicted to a specific type of drug. The guy who uses crack cocaine and is trying to quit isn't going to be derailed because those drugs are now legal. Hell, think about it, where do they get the drugs now when they are legal?

Ohh, and imagine instead of buying tanks, helicopters, etc. and employing pencil-dick DEA agents, they would spend the money to get those people off drugs. To make sure that diseases don't spread and to make sure that prevention and education was at the top of the list. Marijuana, crack, etc. being legal solves a lot of problems with drugs and allows us to build rather than to destroy.

Finally, you know what is really, really scary, REALLY drunk people behind the wheel. In 2013, over 300,000 people in the US were injured or killed because of drunk driving. Is drinking illegal? Is drunk driving illegal? Yea...

And I once flipped one sober as a judge. What's your point? Getting behind the wheel is dangerous itself, but I would rather a weed smoker get behind the wheel that an alcoholic.

Ideally you shouldn't have to choose one over the other, both should have a limit for legal driving. And apparently your Codge level should be checked as well... why were you flipping your car, Codgey?

He got a DUI because he was basically puking before he got behind the wheel from being so high. While I agree it's not as bad as drinking and driving, it's still a problem.

Lol, to be honest I wanted to check up on the Dodgers but the Internet was extremely limited everywhere we went. I would send one tweet and check a couple box scores and that would fill up my internet limit for the day lol

I was a young driver and a light rain was just starting, enough to moisten the highway...I passed a car and as I went to "ease" back into my lane my rear end was suddenly out in front. Lost control, went up an embankment and rolled back down. The car was a total loss even though it was still operable. I was less than a mile from home. Those of you who have been in an accident know that it literally takes only seconds.
