yes it's been a disappointing start to the season but it's nice to know that it's not due to lack of effort... Dodgers president Stan Kasten apologized to fans for the team's less-than-inspiring start to the year, but said that the club was planning to stay the course. As Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports, Kasten claims not to be contemplating any immediate, major moves. Kasten did continue to emphasize the Dodgers' seemingly endless, but arguably aimless, payroll flexibility: "We can do whatever we feel makes sense in the long term and short term." nice to have accountable owners for a change owners that will not miss a chance to improve this team if the opportunity presents itself and yes, it sucks right now especially with everyone else laughing at us -- as well they should, to be honest but, rest assured... we will be the ones laughing down the road and then for many years to come and all this suffering we're going through right now will only make it that much sweeter
Cool that Kasten apologized. Sadly, it's not his fault. Those scrubs on the field should be the ones apologizing.
Well the first sentence clearly states... "Dodgers president Stan Kasten apologized to fans for the team's less-than-inspiring start to the year,"
Where is there a real quote of Stan saying he is sorry? Nowhere. There is no apology on record. Just Hernandez taking it as an apology.
Oh, nevermind then. He shouldn't apoligize anyway. He did his job and I'd follow him to the depths of hell for it. The ownership is the best...the rest...is not reaching expectations.
