I do too. The altitude and huge dimensions mixed with the roid era ruined a lot of baseball in my life.
evidently... Report: Odom returns home FOX Sports | Aug 29, 2013 1:24 PM ETLamar Odom has surfaced, and reports of his marriage’s demise appear to have been greatly exaggerated — for now. Odom returned home on Monday for the first time in days, looking “gaunt” and “tired,” the New York Daily News reported. He still was wearing his wedding ring, according to reports, as was his wife, Khloe Kardashian, later that day. Rumors of Odom’s drug problems have swirled over the past week, with TMZ claiming the 2010-11 NBA Sixth Man of the Year has been a hardcore crack cocaine user for at least the past two years. While that claim is dubious — the NBA has tested regularly during the season for recreational drugs since the 1980s — Odom’s poor play the past two seasons has lent credence to the reports of drug abuse. E! News reported that news of Odom and Kardashian’s separation is false and the family is focused on “getting better.” Odom’s agent also told reporters that his client intends to continue his NBA career. Odom, 33, is a free agent. He averaged a career-low 4.0 points and 5.9 rebounds while playing in all 82 games last season with the Los Angeles Clippers. _
@DodgersBeat: RT @billplunkettocr: Matt Kemp flew out to end game in Rancho Cucamonga. Finishes 0 for 5 with 1 K 2 GIDP and 1 ball out of IF.
Kemp's average in rehab games is like .001 lol seems like he never does well. i just want him healthy and i know he's had ample time to strengthen his shoulder while he was out. he still has 3 HRs in his last 3 full games with the big club, so slowly, but surely, he's getting right.
the coaches down there can't teach him anything that he already knows. he needs to be inspired...one would think all the questions he's getting about " how he's gonna fit in " and about " his role " would inspire him to play hard. or maybe the little friend who passed away from cancer can inspire him. i dunno, but he's a welcome addition
Kemp mans center field in second rehab game By Ken Gurnick and Austin Laymance | MLB.com 8/31/2013 3:19 A.M. ET LOS ANGELES -- Matt Kemp played seven innings in center field on Friday in his second Minor League rehab game with Class A Rancho Cucamonga, his biggest test yet for a sprained left ankle that has kept him on the disabled list for five weeks. Kemp made a running catch in the field and started a relay to record an out at the plate. He went 0-for-3, striking out twice and grounding to third. Kemp started his rehab assignment on Thursday, getting five at-bats with the Quakes in his first game since he injured his ankle July 21 in Washington. Kemp hit three balls hard, but finished 0-for-5 with a strikeout. "It sounds like he felt good, physically, that's probably the most important thing," Mattingly said after Thursday's game. "He's getting his timing back a little bit. He looked OK." Kemp likely will play a third rehab game with Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday. If all goes well, the Dodgers could activate the outfielder as early as Sunday, when rosters expand. "It's always tough to tell how much time somebody needs," said Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti. "I'm glad he's getting some at-bats before he faces live pitching at the big league level." __
I think when he returns, Yasiel Puig should be his private hitting instructor. Teach him to lay off that outside slider....
