What Yasiel did was inexcusable and childish! He should have handled a hell of alot better!!!! I'm not giving up on him but it seems his days as a Dodger are over. What I can't understand is what in the flying fuck does SVS have on the Dodgers brass? Is he black mailing them? I get it that he can play 1st and has had success against lefties in the past but geezus.

It's out there that he left DS and isn't on the plane. What conclusions are you talking about?

Multiple reports, including a corrected one from Rosenthal who had the "storming out" report, said that the team told him to not show up to Dodger stadium today as he wouldn't be joining them in Colorado and that's exactly what he did. He didn't leave or storm off, he didn't show up cause thats what they told him to do

Sources: Yasiel Puig was instructed not to report to stadium or plane today and did not. Told he would be demoted to minors or traded.

Puig isn't the devil the media loves to make him out to be...

I've been on the trade Puig bandwagon for a while, but it makes no sense to do away with him and keep scrubs like SVS around.

Full agreement with jpldodgers. Don't like Puig and have been unimpressed with him for some time, but if you are not going to trade him, why send him down when SVS is still on the team

my only guess is to have him work on fundamentals
maybe the ego check will result in him working harder and/or being more committed
still a very young guy, and if he figures it out and regains his form...
    again, just speculating

Only thing is that you have completely destroyed his trade value. Good luck moving him now

    agreed
but the fact that he wasn't traded may indicate his value wasn't squat anyway
still, could and should have been handled more smoothly
my guess on keeping svs over him is svs' ability to play 1b

With his injury history he should be converted to pitcher. He'd fit right in.

    Fundamentals?
Like being scrappy a go getter that gives it 110 percent and leaves it all on the field that comes to play everyday?
I dont think you can learn to be a white baseball player in the minors.
    But hey... Its OKC.

lol that's you definition of fundamentals?
    no, much simpler
go back to being the player he once was
being able to hit a baseball
and not chasing breaking balls off the plate
    he was hungry back then
then he got lazy, thought he'd made it, and stopped trying to get better
    shame on him
the good news is he can still be that player
    its up to him

    fuck puig, hes done
    put a fork in him
probably filled up with all kinds of roids right before leaving cuba
would explain all his showboating antics and dumb off field and clubhouse issues
maybe kershaw and others believe hes a roider but its taboo to call someone out on that shit
probably why they wanted him traded
hes gone now, its Reddick time!
    '
would have been nice if the a's would have taken puig too and given us danny valencia to play LF and backup 3B and 1B,
