Loved the presser overall especially after countless annoying questions about the previous owner receiving compensation from parking revenue when it was clearly stated when the 1st reports came out that he would ONLY get some benefit IF the land is developed. When Magic said after the last question that it is time for people to "get over it", I laughed my ass off. Vinny was amazing too especially when he said that this would be the last time he would EVER come to a new owner presser again, lol.

I also love Stan Kasten, what a energetic, charismatic guy! We are in good hands that is for certain!

 

Had to pat myself on the back for this post when Kasten mentioned all but extending Kersh in the presser.

 

Magic threw down 50 mil - I suppose that's only chum change in the grand scheme of things.

And no mention today of the impending Dodgers media deal. Now we're talking about some real money. Not a peep at the conference. Is media where Magic has his investments? The Magic Dodger Channel? I guess we wait and see in November.

 

There is an exclusive window that Fox had been worried about when the other guy was exploring other deals. The current deal expires November 30, 2012 so probably by the end of the year.

was so impressed with kasten, he knows his stuff and has everything under control big and small picture. liked how larry king was like "hey can we get david wright?". he knows we need antoher bat but i fear the farm is too depleted.

 

i suspect mccourt has his lawyers looking into litigating magic for his "we should be clapping for that" comment.
