I might be in the minority, but I don't really like that parking is lowered. $15 isn't bad, pretty standard in L.A. and this is gonna make traffic around the stadium a lot worse. For comparisons sake, in Oakland parking is $17 bucks, VRP just told me in NY it's an insane $35... Petco is $15. LA Galaxy parking is $15 and they play literally in the parking lot for a Cal State University. I get it's a statement, and a good one in that, since McCourt was tied to the lots but it'd rather they introduce a better way to get in and out of the stadium on your own or via public transportation. Other than that, I loved that they are gonna upgrade the actual stadium, enhance their use of social media, and make the players more accesible before the game.
It's funny to me that people complained about parking prices for so long, I had no idea it was 15 dollars I thought it was like 50 lol. In NY you pay 35 to park in the Yankee lots, 25 to park a few blocks away. 15, you guys are whiners
Paying less isn't a bad thing, just because other places have higher prices. They can't really do much with the stadium and it's parking issues yet. I don't think anyone can. That's a problem with having a stadium out on a hill. I'm looking forward to that suggestion box, though. Water fountains and urinals galore.
sorry but shut your face doyer. my dad hasnt paid for parking since they raised it to 15 and we've been walking from Cathedral HS since then. fuck that, now we can park for a cheaper price and it's a great
LOL Chris' dad is cheap. The only problem is that the parking lot could become more congested. In reality it shouldn't make a big difference, but now we have to fight through the parking lot with all the Chris' dads of the world. Doyer is right, $15 was already cheap.
hahaha I feel you, $15 is pretty bad and I could imagine when you go you and your dad it's bad considering your dad picks up the whole tab.. but i'm just saying that considering it's a monopoly really, it completely discourages people going in lesser cars, which then in effect creates some ugly traffic around there. just wish maybe they had the public transportation much better... That Dodger Stadium Express shit is cool but no one uses it lol
A bus that runs from Union station to Dodger Stadium 90 minutes before game time and every 10-15 mins after that, every game day. It's free with a game day ticket, or $1.50.... It then takes you back to Union station after the game. Goes around the traffic of getting into the game It's really cool if you can get your way to Union Station via other buses, but honestly it's not used as much as it should be
Never use the Dodger Stadium express on a big game day when you know there will be 50,000+. I used it last year for opening day and got into the stadium in the 2nd inning. I got on the first bus lol
I'd use the fucking bus if it came to Fontana CA and picked me up...but it don't so why would I drive all the way to Union station and not the stadium? I'm glad they lowered the parking...think about us fans that don't live near the L.A. area...there is a lot of us you mother fucking Yuppie fucks!
