He definitely fractured something in his foot or ankle, watch.

 

High ankle sprain, I'm calling it, out for at least 6 weeks.

 

It's probably like some random tendon or nerve that they just discovered which is even worse than a fracture

 

He was almost walking without a limp going into the tunnel. I would go with the high ankle sprain. If something was broken believe me from experience cracking my ankle he would not have been walking without assistance. I bet he takes a day off and DH's game two and three in Toronto.

 

@dylanohernandez: Mattingly doesn't anticipate Kemp will have to go on the DL. Thinks it's relatively minor.

Kemp will be alright, bkitches.

Just got back home, hate to see Kersh give up 2 runs. But better to give up 2 runs on 2 hits (homers) than a combination of hits + walks. Great game for him.

 

Already has some swelling, they think it's a sprain. Man, we just can't have nice things.
