    Great outing? It was a very good outing for a decent pitcher but I don't think Clayton will be happy with 110 pitches in less than 7 innings and 3 walks. Then again my standards for Kersh are pretty high

    He doesn't walk the guy before the hit things could have been different as well. The amount of pitches is the key. Sure the K's get those numbers up but still not great.

    He basically had the guy on the check swing, didn't get that call. He gave up only 4 hits in 6 and 2/3rds, which is great.
