Harden’s game just doesn’t fit into the other NBA teams as currently constituted. He would just disrupt everything with his ball domination and foul points strategy. Even if he gets to a team, that team will have to give up a lot, and they’ll end up having to replicate the Houston system, with no chance at a chip. And now he looks fat and out of shape, partying it up in Vegas and Houston, and looking more desperate for a trade. He is his own worst enemy right now.
Johnny Wilkes wants his $2.5M for delivering Kawhi too West better hop to it. Times must be hard for him to be working for the Clips, or even working at all at 83 yrs old, but that ain't Wilkes' fault. Pay that man expeditiously, Antonio Brown....I mean Jerry West Lol
Clips should have paid him just to keep his mouth shut. Now the Clips have much bigger problems on their hands. If this guy used bribes, promised Leonard and or his family anything, acted like an agent when he isn’t one, or reached out to the Clips during the season....the Clips are going to be in trouble no matter whether the case goes forward or is thrown out. Leonard is the gift that keeps on giving.
guess i'm the only one who doesn't think this is a big deal West is way too smart to leave a paper trail so it comes down to he said/he said w a guy trying to get paid he told him he'd take him out to dinner after talking some smack about the team that he has hard feelings toward if these guys had agreed to a pay0ut the cash would be in his pocket so if that's the best they've got the accused can easily say nothing to see here
You’re right in that it’s he said/he said. But if there are written communications, which it looks like there are, what’s in those communications and when they were sent will be important. And yes, this is probably not criminal or a tort, but the NBA has an explicit rule against intermediaries influencing free agency. So it may still be an NBA violation. Remember, Magic and the Lakers were fined more than once for less if an infraction.
a fine, no big deal jerry west probably did way worse back before the hand check was outlawed and GM could really throw blows.
Can't say I'd be shocked if there were a fuck up or 2 somewhere. It is the Clippers after all. And West is 83. To be frank, I'll never just assume an 80+ yr old knows what they're doing at any moment in the day That said, West is currently catching as much hell for his " shit show " comments. Twitter will pull your resume in a heartbeat. Fans teasing him for being 1-8 in the Finals Lol Best part is he'll never even know
He's a small forward. I play him at SF in 2k with dwight and javale up front and Lebron at pg and Kuzma at sg. I get all the rebounds and own the paint.
