Not necessarily just the time, but over an entire year he probably slumps at a point and you can see how he handles failure. It seems as if the mental aspect (and maybe breaking balls) is what is blocking Puig so just saying what scares me is how he deals with possibly not tearing shit up

But hey, they know him wayyyyyy better than me so who is some little kid to say he will be shit. I hope he comes up and just kicks ass, even with dealing with failure

Dodgers have to give serious consideration to bringing up both Yasiel Puig & Joc Pederson with Kemp & Crawford down..time is right short term

Dodgers rumors: Could Yasiel Puig be replacing Carl Crawford?
By Justin Hunter | MLB Injury News
    Published 6/02/2013

When Carl Crawford had to exit yesterday's game, it was another big blow to the Los Angeles Dodgers. If it turns out that Crawford strained his hamstring, that would be yet another in the long list of players to go down with that injury this year. What will the Dodgers do if Crawford has to hit the DL? Well, they may turn to youngster Yasiel Puig.

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers have been in disaster preparedness mode since yesterday afternoon. They have gone so far as to pull Puig from his start yesterday even though he's not injured.
Puig, a Cuban defector, has been hitting well in Double-A Chattanooga. However, making the leap from Double-A to the Majors is no small task. The huge gap in talent between the two levels makes it difficult for players to succeed in that transition.

In 40 games with Chattanooga this season, Puig is hitting .313/.383/.599. He is expected to become a good player, but he did not exactly come with the same fanfare that fellow Cuban countryman Yoenis Cespedes came with. Regardless, the Dodgers are excited about his potential, and they may be seeing him in a Major League uniform sooner rather than later.
