Horrible news. It doesn't matter much to say this but, his elbow never acted up before this. A long road back to recovery that hopefully ends well but for right now, it's just something really shitty and of course is hard to be rational and remain with good hindsight for that signing
Quick someone say the Dodgers should have seen this coming. In all seriousness, this sucks and I thought (and still think) he can be a quality pitcher for us. Plus this frees him up for more good tweets
Fuckin' A man. Can never predict these types of injuries obviously. Terrible news. Will probably force our hand to make a move if our in house depth doesn't produce.
I think he had some elbow issues way back in his rookie season. His shoulder was the real concern though coming into this season.
Brandon McCarthyVerified account@BMcCarthy32 to be fair, 31 years of use is a lot to ask for from a ligament
Down to Kershaw, Greinke, and Anderson for now, Hope Ryu can get back quickly, and Beachy is looking like June
I feel your guys pain... The two perennial playoff contenders are taking there hits early. What a damn shame, right when this guy has put the shoulder injuries behind him here comes something new...JESUS
An elbow, fuck man. Really thought his shoulder woulda acted up or something, that's more predictable, but this shit? Fuck man We've lost Bills and McCarthy to this shit, hope BMac returns better then Bills did though
Forget the I told you so and let's talk about what's our next move. I don't want it to be Hamels!! Just like the situation with Kenley let's try and give some internal solutions a try. Bring up Zach!!! Urias time??? LOL
And random elbow surgeries to players happening at rates like this is why you get guys like Beachy and Baker and make sure your farm has Lee, Wieland, and Bolsinger.
