So get that out of your head right now. I've also said that I wished I understood SABR better and welcome those stats. I'm not going to go around pointing fingers, but it's obvious that your beef is with other people.
I'll say it again, I don't care if you don't like a player for personal reasons. But when someone feels otherwise and uses a stat to show that feeling don't call them bad things and talk down to them when theres value to it. If you don't want to 100% trust it, fine by me but don't act like it's ridiculous what you are saying. Now, when it's flipped and I try to show that what he said had value, it's all of a sudden whiny and annoying? We should all be able to share how we feel towards a player whether its positive or negative. And I prefer the thoughts to be based on facts, that's me. It's lame that you can call someone out for being positive but have a lot of excuses if you are wrong when negative. Don't dish it if you can't take it, and it seems as if you can only dish shit if you are negative. Be negative, but don't be mad if someone opposes that thought, unless its irrational opposition.

If you guys think it's whiny and annoying then I'm sorry for that but it's lame that you can be so negative and say anything you want when you are negative and right about it but when anyone is positive it's automatically being annoying, whiny, and we don't understand baseball/DSP. I like going back and forward on players and arguments but it gets lame if being on one side is looked down upon and one has a lot more excuses than the others.

I do not think that is it. I think he was just annoyed with the constant reminders. Your point was made. I also think that most like the discussions until they become a matter of "I know more because..."--on both sides. I also think our current team is causing a lot of heartache which leads to anger and resentment. People are a little raw.

Right, which is why I try to make the point endlessly that I don't know more than anyone. Sorry if I came off that way, but I really don't think I do cause I don't. Some posters write some things I'm astonished they'd know. The only time I feel my thought is more relevant than someone else is when I use another website to get a fact or a stat, that's all I'm saying. I just don't like when a narrative is extremely one sided, as if you can only be right if you are negative. Same goes as the other side, I don't like if anyone said you can only be right if you are positive; I think it's just fair to hear everything out and not say anyone is stupid for thinking any which way.
