    Indeed.

Instead we have shit heads like Kobe. I know most you are laker fans, but you have to admit he is a dick head deluxe. Kind of makes me glad that Jackie never played in LA, would hate to see Jackie and numerous recent and present day athletes compared as "Greatest LA athletes".

I raise my beer to you, Jackie. One taken far too soon.

i like kobe. his transgression in colorado aside i think he holds himself well. no kids with multiple women. no gun play.no drug issues. articulate in multiple languages. never makes lame excuses for his play.always does his interviews. he likes pussy and so do i. he has access to a lot more temptation than jackie ever had thats for sure.
i think the worst that can be said is he is an adulterer. if you believe the whore with three types of semen in her underwear than he's a rapist.

I think his number should be retired in all sports honestly.

My comments have very little if anything to do with that single incident, it's more from personal experience. My dad and I work in the engineering department at the Staples Center (me on a part-time basis) and as players enter the building and head toward the locker room sometimes one or both of us happen to be leaving the office, as Kobe happens to be entering, so I say "hey, how are you?" expecting to hear "pretty good, thanks." or something along those lines, instead, he stops and looks at us as if to say, "who said you could talk to me?". Who the fuck are you?

Now others, Pau Gasol, Grant Hill and Chris Paul, just to name a few, are perfectly willingly to reply with a simple polite response. Is that so hard? I think not.

    Jackie, you're the man.

yeah i guess i would have had to been there. he stops and looks at you? are you sure you weren't wearing clipper gear or something like that? anyway i meet all sorts of personalities myself and have had all sorts of encounters that have gone well and not so well. i tend to give celebs/personalities the benefit of the doubt since people come hit them up all day long.
i think pretty much every celeb has a few stories like that floating around out there. i had not heard much about him being a jerk. usually its the smaller celebs that have that issue.

I was in my work uniform, I could understand if I had asked for an autograph or something, but it's sort of an unwritten rule that you don't, not that I would want it from him, but if I wanted one from someone on the Clippers or Kings, I have gotten them through the trainers and other team staff.
