There are 3 things I remember about Broxton:

1.) Meatball to Stairs.
2.) Choking game 4 of the NLCS (Worst Dodger game ever)
3.) Blowing a 30 run lead against the Yankees in the 9th with a series win on the line.

 

I guess he should've thought about that when he was choking it up

 

Obviously when you're a closer your name will be attached to many blown saves, because you're in the fire night after night. But man was he in a class of his own. POS.

08 hurt but was just what happens sometimes. 09 was a whole 'nother story and cemented his place in the POS category. NOBODY ON BASE, 2 OUTS, and WALKS FUCKING STAIRS. The worst Stairs could do was make it a 1 run game and you walk him. FUCK

 

I thought he walked a batter, and then hit Stairs?

 

I thought he walked stairs with nobody on. Idk I try to block that dark time out.
