Wish the DL would take Puig instead

Puig's serious 9th inning limp was either a hamstring redux, or a fine thespian effort for some unknown reason, only he would be aware of.
The DL may be waiting in the wings ( stage talk).
His barehanded attempt in the second, although not the losing error, was really totally sandlot shit.

Sucks but better not to give Kershaw the option to talk the brass into keeping him in the rotation to his and our detriments. You hear anything about Brock getting another start?

Urias had a couple bad innings in his debut. Brock only 1. I'd call it progress.

That's like comparing two grenades going off vs a napalm bomb.

Don't knock it yet, what else we got? Lest we forget he was pitching in front of family.

I know, but our subs have been subpar.

That Tepeche outing still puzzles and haunts me.

Come on......Brock got screwed by sabermetrics. If the "shift" was not on he would have been out of the inning without the 3 run shot and the subsequent double by braun. His line would have been 5 innings no runs. Besides, would you rather have Brock or Frias.....ill take Brock.

Rule 1: Always blame the sabermetrics.

Its not really blaming it is factual. If the infield would have been playing their regular positions the 2nd inning would have been a 1-2-3 inning. I only bring that up to refute the claims that some are saying he sucks. He may......but we should not give him that title based on his last outing......he was just a victim of bad luck.

I didn't even know the shift was "sabremetrics"...
What's the SABR stat called for IF alignment then?

Sorry.....its probably not called sambermetrics......i just lump in all the stat head info into sabermetircs. I should have said he got screwed by MGT's use of stats. I still belive that if all things were "normal"....like players in ther "normal" positions, he gets out of that inning unscathed.
