Yea he did, kind of like Eric Stults, Barry Zito, Jeff Francis, Trevor Cahill, Clayton Richards, and well you know every pitcher in baseball. Especially these so called "shitty pitchers".

Sidenote: Why is it we are the only team without a minimum of 5 aces?

All puss throwing lefties. It's so weird.
Hey we beat Matt "perfect game" Cain though. Can't figure this team out at all.

We didn't beat Matt Cain. We got lucky on a double that spun out of Pence's glove and scored because of Cain's wild pitch. Then we scored off Affeldt.

Bottom line is that if this team is serious about making it to the postseason, it starts Tuesday in AZ. Win a couple games and get some momentum going into the Cardinal series. This week will determine everything.

Geez, things are bad enough as it is, do you really need to dispute my post?
We beat Cain like it or not. He started the game and we won the game...and nobody on the planet Earth thought we would win that game.
LOL, you even mentioned his wild pitch! Do you really have to say we got lucky on a double that spun out of Pence's glove? A Dodger hit the double, right?
If that's how you rate whether someone beats someone...we lose to "bad luck" all the time.

Whatever...the bullpens got the decision, so we didn't beat Cain I guess.

I forgot Juan Rivera was your boy. :D

Any hit he gets I just assume is lucky. Hahah.

Food for thought, when the Padres beat us last Tuesday in extras, did they beat Kershaw?

I think Fordie's point was we won a game we weren't expected to win
we beat them in a game Cain started
and yes, last Tuesday the Pads beat us in a game they weren't expected to win...
    a game CK started :smh:

FILE UNDER: that's why they play the games

    P. S. and don't you be capping on Don Juan Rivera damn it!!!

Fordie gets real salty when you talk about his boy Juan like that. Hahaha.

I get the point, just not a fan of giving this crap team any credit.

Actually, I didn't remember Rivera was the guy...that's why I typed a "Dodger hit that double". Irish summed up my thoughts well enough.

I wasn't defending Rivera(again I forgot who's double it was), but I found it weird we are winning games we have the least chance, and losing everything else.

There is no explaination for this team. The fans deserve an apology. Hanley giving up that one AB yesterday? Wow.

The prick in me wants to say, why do you think these guys were available for nothing?

The realist says, give it through next season. The moves came with a lot 2012 hype when expectation should be next year and the year after, these contracts aren't expiring.

    absolutely agree
as much as we dodgers fans want immediate success
2013 and beyond is more realistic
just too many new faces and egos trying to co-exist and, to be honest, figure out how/where they fit in
and they're pressing, trying to do too much
spring training will fix a lot of that
