Well, how long can this carry on really? I mean, we went through this last season after the big trade, and it is just the same damn shit over and over. Any sign of relief or a good game, even a lucky break is quickly squashed the very next day. Again, I know baseball has a way of balancing shit out, but we are way under in the "baseball God's luck" bank. When is it our turn again to laugh and enjoy some good fucking Dodger baseball again? We can't be lucky, we can't be good, we can't even be healthy. This is just freaky ass madness and it must end now!
By my math we will suck for around about 4-6 1/2 more years due to two contracts that I won't name. Only caught a bit of the game, but what the fuck is Carl Crawford doing in that outfield sometimes? With his speed he should be a plus fielder in left. Fucking Manny got better reads.
LOL, well that's why I'm stumped. This is a first for me...never ever seen anything like it. This is not a team of Dodger Andruw Jones and JD Drews. These guys don't want to sit the bench, get taken out of games...this team wants to win, but the harder they try the more comically impossible it gets for them. Honestly, I've never seen this in all of my many many many years I've been around the game!

There's something unbelievable about this team...when there's a good hitter that pops up in the lineup, it always falls to that guy, and everyone else seems to stand around and just wait for it to happen. That guy (now it's Agon) has to be the run producer. It's happened with Manny, Kemp, even Russell Martin, at various times. It will never work for long...sooner or later, that guy will slump, and we will be....well, what we are now. Dead last. IDK why, but I can only remember a few periods of time, when we were functioning as a team, and the RBI burden was spread out among the lineup. Now we have Kemp and Ethier, for all intents and purposes, that are two below average hitters. Little, very little contributors at all. Only guys with some real heart, like Kershaw, once in a while, do what they can....the rest are Fatheads most of the time. Better on some kid's room wall.
For some crazy reason, I think that when Hanley comes back, they will get re-energized... Hanley is all about the drama and the exposure, and no better place for that than LA. He will come back trying to prove he's HANLEY. Stubborn DBB will keep hitting Kemp 3rd or 4th, but with Hanley behind Adrian, the depth will be a lot better (taking terrible Dee Gordon out)... lets hope he comes back in a couple days...
no one wants to ride the pine and everyone wants to win the problem with these guys is they don't play smart baseball poor approaches, horrible at bats, mental errors... and that is the manager's job to fix get them to play smart baseball or sit their asses down i was thrilled when dbb sat kemp yesterday... and then disappointed when he said it wasn't disciplinary and that he'd be back in the lineup tomorrow quit pacifying and placating these prima donnas and take fucken charge this is your team donnie! don't let these lazy spoiled cunts determine your fate -- determine theirs!!! sit kemp, ethier and/or whoever else isn't playing smart team baseball and not just for a game -- for several not like that's going to cost the team w's it's not only your team donnie, it's also your fate

If they played with a "me first" mentality, I think Kemp and Ethier would have more than a combined 6 home runs. They're just playing awful. Drive in some damn runs and we'll be fine.
