Dodgers always seem to start off April around .500 every year but it doesn’t make it any less annoying.
i walk away for a few minutes and we walk in three and i see that fuck up baez walking off the mound why the FUCK is that asshole on this team year after year? i'm having a hard time recalling any Dodger so consistently bad throughout his career
These fuckers need to start pulling the ball. working for everyone else. It's like none of our hitters are pulling it this year.
Art is all about different ways you can rearrange deck chairs on a painting of an olympic sized sinking ship inside a bottle of rosé.
Last year's hangover is keeping me way more indifferent than I'd normally be. I just feel meh. Anyone else feeling the same?
Right there with ya. Opening week is always fun but then I remember how much of a slog the season is to get through. Granted, I feel I’ve become this way over the past few years as my life has been changing and now baseball is primarily in the background rather than the one thing I pay attention to. But even during last years historic run I wasn’t tuning in night in and night out.
I say or think this every year, based on the previous year's failure. And failure. And failure...seemingly ad infinitum. Sooner or later, your juice dries up, your ammunition rows low, ( like perennial CY winners and 40+ save closers), the chemistry changes, and all those past opportnities go into the "coulda, woulda, shoulda" files, and another team/teams who have what the Dodgers evidently haven't found yet, gets their shot. I hope we aren't at that point in time, but if we are, I wouldn't be surprised. At least, let's get one more shot at it.
but isn't baez going on 7 years or something like that? its all about the potential w the guy and its always the same and now his confidence is totally shot it was a long time ago at least perez and tomko knew some success in their careers and were limited to a few years when do they move on?
