I'd say he is down to two also. His speed is now gone. I'm not sure he was ever a 5 tool anyway.

Yeah, I don't think he ever excelled at fielding or throwing.

Should have swept these fuckers but a good win in the nightcap nonetheless.

Does anybody get this team or what??? They played great this end of the twin bill....Capuano was great, Ethier/Puig/Hanley were great...it's like another team was out there. I still say the best thing about it was the defense with a nice CF from Ethier tonight...and Ramirez looked actually pretty good on some plays; what the hell is going on here?
I'll take it. Nice W. Puig is insane.
More Capuano like that...some more consistency, and that will be huge for us. Maybe he will be good in the second half for us, which is usually where he collapses.
Definitely a Jekyll and Hyde double header though. I don't now which one was around in the second game, but I hope that one stays.

There was a place once where they did this kind of stuff ....it was called Ravensbourg.
Problem was, a large percentage of the children were below average intelligence and some had a degree of retardation.
With our luck, we would create a pool of Julio Lugos.
Are you German by any chance?

too much inconsistency. when punto, schumaker and other average guys were beasting our main guys sucked. now our main guys are hitting but these guys are now in slumps. and adrian looks to be in a slump, probably from fatigue.
at the end of the day our hitting with risp is solving itslef ever so slowly simply from players coming back from injury. ramirez means no cruz. having crawford back eventually means puig can go to cleanup etc.
the problem i see is our bullpen is healthy, but they get worse not better. what belli did today, i mean he has no shame.
