Maybe he's a late bloomer like SVS... never mind he's a non bloomer.

Went 0 -3 with a walk tonight but threw out T-Fed coincidentally at home. Anderson went 5 throwing 81 pitches if anyone out there cares.

I care! I want him back so that hopefully Urias can finish the year out in the minors on a regular routine before working out of the bullpen.

When will Verdugo and Calhoun be ready to crack the big league lineup?

Probably sometime next year. Right about the time where I read a couple reports saying that Verdugo was ready, he went into a HUGE slump that he has not gotten out of yet. His BA has dropped a good 30 points in the last couple of weeks. Still not striking out a ton, so may be some BABIP bad luck. The Drillers in general are in a pretty big funk and it seems that the poor hitting of Bellinger, Calhoun and Verdugo of late could be a big cause of it.

    • Jose De Leon pitched seven innings, allowing two runs, five hits, two walks and struck out seven. In his last three starts, De Leon has pitched 20 innings, giving up 12 hits, eight runs (four earned), four walks, and 13 strikeouts.

I think we could see Calhoun next year if it all breaks right for him.

I'd guess Verdugo/Bellinger are September call up's at best.

Willie has digressed a bit since his promotion so it would REALLY have to break right for him at this point. The way Joc has been performing may not see Verdugo until 2017 in September. Injuries as we all know will affect this.

Huh? Calhoun has been really good this year. All 3 have been in Tulsa the entire season.

    Verdugo is realllllllly struggling

My mistake Willie has been there but hitting .239 in the 2nd half and hasn't hit lefties all year. Went nuts HR wise but slowed lately. The difference is Verdugo and Belli are only 20. I like em all but overall more upside for the younger guys.

Calhoun is a couple months older. meh. Agreed Bellinger/Verdugo have higher ceilings but really good offensive 2B aren't easy to find. (Praying he's good enough to stick at 2B)

Also Calhoun has a .845 OPS post ASB

Good points but the OPS is a result of the HR's and that has slowed, again hitting under .216 vs lefties we have enough of those. Calhoun 22 in November, Alex just turned 20 in May, Belli is closer in age. I know I'm knitpicking but those months makes a huge difference. Again I like em all.
