Puig is amazing....even when he looks pretty mild at the plate, he manages to do something insane for the victory. Already "the best arm in MLB".
Maybe I saw a different game, but I thought Capuano looked extra bad again...meatball after meatball right down Broadway. Way too elevated.
Doesn't seem to matter in the long run, though. How great is that?
How come, being a Texan all his life, growing up there, going to school there, etc., Kershaw has absolutely zero twang? No accent whatsoever. huh?

Puig is something else. For being a rook having a bad offensive game and staying composed up until that 12th inning just shows you what kind of player he is. Like Doyer mentioned I don't think there is another guy in this league that has the balls to try that in that situation. Sure he's done it before and been unsuccessful but it wasn't in extra innings and he's the game winning run. His energy alone is the difference in some games. Keep giving us a show YP, you never cease to amaze.

 

Well, it's the American League...but I guarantee Mike Trout would've done the same thing. some say he's faster than Puig too, I'm not sure I'd agree though, he's just a better base stealer.

 

Maybe....maybe not. He's more likely to stay on first and steal second, IMO
