Wow, a potential maelstrom is at our shore, ready to sweep in and rearrange the scenery. Unbelievable, just when we thought we got all the fat cats rightafter the sale, and the players who could do it all, we are right back in Palookaville.
Someone asked me why I chose the name "Bluezoo"....well, this is why.
It's always a fucking zoo out there.
    Always.
Sometimes though, a rough go and total chaos can win it for a team....and make a champion. It can. Like Billy Martin's Yanks. Maybe "one big happy family with deep love and affection for the manager is exactly WTF we don't need.
I say, and I mean immediately, hire Jeff Kent as bench coach. He'll get the shit rollin'....

If Ned makes this move, he needs to be disembowled by ninjas while he takes a shit, like he has been taking on us. Francour? Wow.
Of all the players out there we could use/ For Ethier?
Probably nothing going to happen at all....I don't see DBB gone. I see an extension of 2/3 years.

Jeff Kent is my 2nd favorite Dodger of all time (my lifetime) but he will never coach. He's not addicted to baseball enough to coach. He loved the game and what not obviously, but not in that way.

I would love for Jeff kent to come back, but yeah, I don't see it happening.

Also, I hope when he enters the HoF, he doesn't go in a gnat. Sadly, that's the team he spent the most time with.

I'm starting to think BLF isn't confident as fuck, but is on coke.

    It's not the 80's, man!

Seattle would have to be ultra retarded to do that. We have Ned Colletti as our GM, not Mitch Kupchak.

Trading Ethier just because he's Donnie's scapegoat? How about fire Mattingly, keep Ethier until he goes on one of his tears, then trade him for something worthwhile. The potential trade options above are ludicrous.

Yes. I'd love to hear your take.

There's no way in a million years Seattle would do that. An expensive past his prime OF which are much easier to find anything else, for a young up and coming and cheap stud 3B. Not happening. Covering his whole salary wouldn't even be enough.

Ahhh, exactly why I askd, because I thought you meant there is no way we should make that trade. I agree, that would be hard, but I'd be willing to throw another prospect in there for him. I mean Ethier for 4.5 years and $40MM is a steal.

Well for the majority of the deal he'll likely be.

Andre is weird though. He never really peaked. 09 was a big power and clutch showing but he's typically the same guy every season.

Yeah, there's no doubt we overpaid; but itms not like we're hurting for money so it's w/e. I just hope he hits better because we all know what he's capable of.

Yeah, Jeff loved to play the game, but he's into his bikes and other things now. I wrote that realizing it, but it's a Kent type of personality we need so badly, IMO. All this lovey dovey shit has got us zero, too. And in the end, Donnie is turning out to be more of a clone of HoF manager, Joe Torre, than we ever could imagine, if you think about it.
If he does get canned, expect a tell-all book, or at least a major Sports Illustrated article on how difficult it was for him with the Dodgers and their high expectations.
It's funny, but lots of people champion DBB because it's not him whose at fault, he doesn't go out there and hit (he elluded to that the other day himself), etc. There is no one at fault...a team problem.
I wonder then, if it's all pre-destined in the great ledger in the sky, why the fuck is he sitting Ethier down amongst all those who suck so profusely? Sounds like public blame to me, flat out. Just not so direct, but obvious nevertheless.
