    You're mad as fuck because if women don't want to be treated as second class citizens, then you want the right to knock them out cold? When one sex is naturally 2-3 times stronger than the other, a double-standard isn't really a double-standard.

    Dude this is fucked up on so many levels. I think its a loss for women's rights, or at least it definitely was up until he was banned. If you saw the video then I don't know how you can justify what he did. And to make it worse, in the press conference that he and his new wife had after the incident became public, SHE apologized and HE didn't say he was sorry for jack shit. That equal rights bullshit that you come up with doesn't hold anywhere man, like BlueMouse said, women are the inherently gentler sex, and if we came to live in a society where it is OK for women to be hit by men, then we might as well be living in the middle ages.

    Yeh, don't get raped in a Muslim country...because if you can't fight off a guy, or multiple guys, who are beating you and tearing off your burqua, then you will be stoned to death. With perhaps only your head exposed and the rest of your defiled body buried.
    Depending on if the judges are in a good mood.
    How far removed are we, after all, when this goes on, all the time, right under our noses.
    Rice was caught, because of his athlete's media/fan worship and God like status and exposure...how many go unknown and unpunished?

    The media is hated because they bury those who get caught.
    But the media only does that because that is what we want.
    As soon as someone messes up we want to bury him too.
    We just dont have the type of shovel the media has.
    They do the dirty work that we seemingly want done.
    According to what we repeatedly say in these type of situations.
    We want blood!
    And in that form we become bullies like the guys we condemning.

    Bullies like this have no place in the world to come.
    Systematically they will be exposed if they fail to change their ways.
    In the past exposure never came, now it comes and it comes quick.
    Folks gonna have to learn how to do the right thing because it will be harder to hide your character in the future.
    Your acts follow your thoughts and no man can keep either of them in check unless he submits his will.
    But its rare to find a bully who submits his will before he so humbled as to no longer function as a bully.
    Much better is it for a bully to realize what he has been and decide to be kind to those that may be weaker, poorer, lower, dirtier, and of less worth than he.
    Upon understanding that he may then also realize that he isnt all that strong, clean, rich, high or as worthy as he was lead to believe.

    A lot of tough guys will bark out that you dont hit a woman after watching the Ray Rice video.
    Yet they yell at their wife and abuse the crap out of her in other ways.
    Since they cant hit her they do even worse violence with the sword in their mouth.
    Then they beat their kids for being kids... while they preach on about how hitting a woman is wrong.
    A police that beats a sloppy drunk or a homeless or takes advantage of a prostitute is worse than ray rice.
    Ray Rice is just a dumb ignorant fool made into something by the money his owners, advertisers and fans put in his pocket.
    Money is paper, it makes you a man... on paper.
    But then you hit your wife and your kid and you talk shit about those you can easily target in order to gain credit.
    Your name isnt Chase to be getting undeserved credit and that card you carrying aint platinum gold but oily plastic.
    Ray may be the king that shines down light in his castle, but in the rest of the world he aint no different from anyone else that asks you if you want paper or plastic with your groceries.
