Although I cringe at his brutish and often unpolished manners and petulance, the fact that Trump won is a smack in the mouth of political correctness. That in itself, is a cogent, much needed step away from the ridiculous, gagging mind set the liberals were shoving down our throats. Bravo. One of his biggest, most important things to develope, real quickly, imo, is to deal with negativity and crticism that will directed towards him in the next 4 years. He can't mock reporters and dole out revenge as POTUS. That being said: Martha McCallum is like way smoking gorgeous. Wearing a military style dress this morning, and rocking it, big time...Oh Captain, my Captain...
Loved this film. Loved Candy. Just a sweet and hilarious story. Two pros at their best. Probably one of the best holiday films ever made. I sure hope it plays in the upcoming weeks.
The GOP isn't his biggest fan, so that might not be true. And TBH, I'd rather have Trump in the White House than many of the religiously conservative Republicans like Ted Cruz or Mike Pence. While I consider myself a moderate Democrat, I do support universal healthcare. It's disappointing that the traction towards that will likely end if not reverse. Not that we were all that close to true universal healthcare. I don't support legislating morality (by either side), so having a Republican house, senate, and president is concerning. I'm not excited about the potential Supreme Court nomination(s). I don't see how Trump can be better prepared than Clinton to hit the ground running when it comes to National Security or international relations, so I think those who think Trump makes us "safer" will be disappointed, but I'll take a wait and see approach on that - even though I don't see him as the best choice in that regard, I'm fairly confident it won't be a disaster. If anything he might console the country better when something bad happens, so congrats to those who need consoling. His acceptance speech last night was cordial, damn near presidential. He sounds like a politician already. And that's a good thing IMO. Personally, I'm disappointed. Surprised but not shocked. Hopeful.
watching that fake bitch concede is worth the price of admission AHHAHAHHAHAHAHa stronger together and we will go forward together! there's the door bitch GTFO never want to hear that voice again
Hillary is thanking the country for all it has given her. Indeed. From " we're broke" a decade ago, to a vast fortune, at the present time... America...what a country. Whatever unhappiness, pain, disappointment and sheer shock she is experiencing, and I surely hope she is, there is not one iota of it that she didn't bring totally on herself. Her corruption and what is due from it goes way beyond this loss...may justice be served to the full measure.
The Supreme Court is lost for a lifetime, and casual racism is reigning supreme on every social media platform I use for the past 10 hours. I'm heartbroken. Sorry to those of you who will be much more negatively affected by this than me, a white guy. Society let you down.
Can you amplify this statement a bit...since I'm sure many here ( maybe just me, idk) would be curious to have an example or two. To help undetstand it... Thanking you in advance...
Personally I think that we have Rube to blame for Trump getting elected... LOL His, and Craig's, mantra of not voting was extended to the 11-14 million latino's dodging the immigration laws and thus also shared by all of their hosts, friends, neighbors and community members all of whom decided that not voting was their protest move. How'd that not voting schtick work out for you now? Meanwhile southern rednecks turned out in droves. As did midwestern rednecks, farmers, ranchers all of whom were surprisingly joined by college educated women!?! America correctly saw Hillary as more of the same and we're collectively fed up with the bought and paid for corruption that she espouses. Good riddance bkitch. I saw on one of the highly liberal stations reporting last night that Hillary won 87% of the black vote. That is hard to believe. Of course that might be 87% of the very few who bothered to vote when Trump's henchmen were doing 'poll duty'. LOL oh and once more FUCK the DSP Mods for closing the Politics thread simply to open their own Politics thread. Pin dick ego maniacs. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely as is shown yet again. I'm expecting to be banned any moment now.
After Pantsuit's speech, Billy going through the crowd hugging and kissing supporters... lingering much longer with the younger females...longer hugs, etc. In his defense, though, I haven't seen any tongue...
It's no secret that I voted for Clinton, but there is no mistaking the excessive amount of "polish" in her persona. At the end of the day it's her polish, fakeness, and untrustworthiness that made people not want to vote for her. It's safe to say she lost the election, not her platform or gender. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say that's a good sign for those who support the liberal platform, but maybe. The persona that ultimately got her to this point was her downfall.
seriously? no way trump wins without substantial black and brown votes BO was no uniter and divided the races more than any leader of this country ever he WAS the racist in chief in many peoples opinion the inner cities have been destroyed by liberal policy that has done zero for minorities and fringe players lets give the man a chance before condemning him to marching people to the oven geezus
Indeed. Start a thread someday. If it gets too popular @irish will close and lock yours and start his own with the same subject. That recurring habit = heavy handed Mod overreach = pin dick small minded ego driven decisions = egomaniacs Not that I wouldn't drink a beer with him later but Fuck him here and now as this has happened more than once. Of course you never start threads so you wouldn't notice I guess. Whatever. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Again.
Americans saw repeatedly that she lied about nearly every topic before her. Too many to mention. Trump is a blowhard but he speaks HIS OWN mind and takes ignores the ensuing guff That endeared him to the the country who evidently embraced open racism. Women's rights are now in the toilet. As are nearly every other liberal/progressive agenda. Seeking a good news aspect is tough but at least Trump isn't the religious nut job that Cruz would have been And he IS a DC outsider... in theory. Not in practice so much as he himself openly admits to lubricating the palms of politicos on both sides of the aisle.
I was getting ready to ban you until this comment. You don't tell us who to ban. Fuuuuuck You! I am actually proposing we do the opposite and give you some more power around here. If it was up to me I'd make you a mod. That would quiet you down.
