So the gnats lose one roider who was an mvp candidate at mid season and get another roider in his place who in turn wins the nlcs mvp? Must be something in the water. That's the word on PSD. He is just in a hot streak and lucky because he is on a new team and has a high BABip. Sometimes statgeeks are irritating. Well Melky Cabrera had an even higher BABip. BABip isn't all about luck. .hit the ball square instead of rolling over, popping up, getting jammed, or off the end of the bat=higher BABip. .hit the ball harder and it's more likely to get by or through infielders=higher BABip. Improved bat speed and strength from PED use could and should easily improve both of those abilities.

true..... When we were after them they put the pedal down and kept winning when we couldn't. Pisses me off but they have a killer instinct we don't, at least not yet....
Yeah, I see them fight back from 2-0 and 3-1 and it reminds me of our two NLCS appearances vs Philly. We lost two heartbreakers in game 4s back to back years to go down 3-1, and then in the proceeding game we laid on our back and took it up the you know what....neither game was ever in doubt. What the Giants lack with talent, they make up with mental toughness and steroids.

and the way they get lined up for the series is not that bad for them... If in SOME FUCKING TWISTED WAY they manage to stretch the series to a game 7, they will probably have Cain vs Sanchez... I really cant stand another year of that team winning the WS...
