Ijust keep realizing the fact that this lineup is capable of going on a tear at anytime. They have to many big numbers not too.
I have to admit, today is the worst I've felt about the Dodgers chances of making the playoffs. Still plenty of time, no doubt and this team is fucking talented, but this is one too many series where its just pathetic losses. Losing to a team and getting outplayed is different, if that makes sense and the team just got fucking completely out played by a shitty team. You can't do that. I didn't expect a sweep, but at least a competitive series woulda been cool
LOL, one of my favorite movies ever. It used to scare me when i was a little shit...expecially that part of the film.
Oh, no doubt a classic. "if ever oh ever a wiz there was"? Gold. Poetic. We basically have to hope the Giants lose from here on out.
there is something big missing from the leadership of this team imo. how can no one be upset about their play? just drop a ball between three guys, no big. two outs back to our positions. swing at awful shit down oh 2 oh well get em next time. problem is there isn't the time to play like that. its two outs every damn inning before you look up. wheres the fire?
I think that if they end up losing this game there's gonna be a meeting after the game where Donnie Buntball does some ass kicking... there has to be...
I've always said Matt is not a leader. He's the best player, but he's not someone that can lead a team or inspire them without a bat in his hands. I agree with TB here. There's still plenty of games left but we have been horrible against the NL west. This team lacks tenacity. Talent can only get you so far. I hope they realize that now rather than later if it gets too late.
Th giants are doing what we should be doing....beating teams they are supposed to. We better figure it out quick.
cant do without pitching... right now we are sending batting practice out there 4 days in a row... I have never missed Bills so much... any chance of getting Kuroda back for September?
Can't do it without hitting either. We have faced two guys with 4.50+ ERAs and they are shutting us down. Really no excuse for any part of this play the last two nights.
true, but today's game was winnable with those 4 runs, but Capuano kept throwing meat right down the middle... and Wright is a piece of shit... we need starters that can last more then 5 innings...
these guys are looking at each other and seeing an all star team of mirror posers. sure they can play and have put up numbers. none of them have that much incentive w those massive contracts. reap what you sow.
I was about to ask why the Yankees can get a bunch of good guys and stick them together, almost never missing the playoffs. Then I remembered. Jeter. We have a bunch of good guys but they are so not leaders. Different generation.
