A-Gon has had a rough road trip, but he'll bounce back. Kemp and Dre need to come around soon though. Hanley should be back in two weeks.
Hanley could hit Minors on Thursday By Austin Laymance | MLB.com May 29, 2013 | 2:07am ET LOS ANGELES -- Injured shortstop Hanley Ramirez could begin a Minor League rehab assignment as early as Thursday, according to Dodgers manager Don Mattingly. Ramirez tested his strained left hamstring by running the bases on Tuesday for the second straight day. He also fielded ground balls and took batting practice on the field before the Dodgers' game against the Angels. "Hanley was really good today," Mattingly said. "It sounds like if everything goes well, Hanley is getting close to going out [on a rehab assignment] later this week, maybe Thursday or Friday." Ramirez has been limited to only four games with the Dodgers this season. He began the year on the disabled list, recovering from the surgery on his right thumb he underwent to treat an injury sustained while playing for the Dominican Republic during the World Baseball Classic. Ramirez returned earlier than projected, only to strain his hamstring running from first base to third on May 3 in San Francisco. __
This one scares me. Like Kemp and others, repulling the Hamstring is always worse. Hope he'll be ready for sure.
If he isn't ready, and re-injures it, get this training staff out. We should all be excited he's coming back, but we've reached the point where we can't wait for it all to gel in anymore. We can't say, "Okay, in the long haul with these guys coming back, it will eventually work out.". We've forfeited that luxury by playing so poorly. We have to immediately start winning a bunch of games, specifically in our own division. We're 7 games back. If you can get hot and beat your own division, you're right back in it. If you can't (an we haven't for 2 years), you're gonna be in too deep. This is the tipping point, imo.
Unless something bad happened post-game, he should be. Did well in his game yesterday with no complications
I think they are waiting for Capuano's MRI. If it is worth a DL stint, they put him on the DL and keep Fife in his spot. If not, then they just option Fife. I bet they are 100% certain Hanley is up, just waiting to see if Capuano can make his next start or not (Might even option Fife either way and not let Fife pitch until they know Capuano is 100%, cause they can bring up Fife before Capuano's next start if Capuano is hurt cause you can bring someone back from an option within 5 days or some shit for a DL stint.)
as soon as anyone hears anything on his shoulder/mri, please share cautiously optimistic it's nowhere near as bad as it may seem ray:
