Not that anything more ever needs to be said about him being great for the dodgers or baseball in general but just saw that he is in Australia for the series. Kind of puts some of the bitching about the travel into perspective if an 86 year old man makes the trip.
I don't see what the big fucking deal is with some of these bkitches bkitching about opening day down under. Australia is fucking awesome and I would find any and every reason to visit there all the time!!
Yes, it surely does. Although it also makes me wonder why he don't make the road trip games past CO, or wherever the cutoff is on the longitude barrier. I guess this is something that is once in a lifetime, so he wants to be part of it. Don't blame him. And how how are the heels on that woman standing to the left extreme of that photo? Do they bring dancers with them? Like camp followers?
I'm thinking he was asked to be a part of it not that he asked to be a part of it. I wonder if there will be local (in Australia) broadcasts and they wanted to let the people of Oz hear the greatest baseball announcer of all time.
Yeah, probably right on that. When you think about Vinny's life, and all the moments he's seen and been part of, damn...unequaled. What a life he's had. And still rollin'...
Vin is well off obviously but not like players So a free vacation to ozland for an old bluehair is a pretty good deal. Plus all the love from a new base of dodgerfans won't hurt. Vin at his age and times flying probably has no fear left for flying log distances. And as far as flying down towards the part of the world where ships go *bampf* I'm guessing vin probably didn't watch lost. Besides nobody will remember this latest event just like the plane that went away back when Michael Jackson still looked like a black dude.
