Grandal in the cleanup spot is a result of DBB trying to stick to his guns..for ex. Rollins leading off, Guerrero and Joc at the bottom, Ethier having a good day in the 2 spot yesterday and what have you. just not a whole lot else you can do with those things in mind. don't be surprised if they get results because of Turner hitting behind them. he's been driving the ball. it's maybe like the 3rd best lineup that could be made with this set of players if you're using the rules that Guerrero and Joc must hit 7/8.

today would've been the day to give SVS a turn..POUNDING righties this year. would've been an easy slot in @ the cleanup spot. i will say that. only thing i can think of is that they're seeing Crawford turn the corner and hit the ball harder in the last few games, so keep him going. he's been killing the Pads in the last 8-10 games against them. might get him jump-started.
but whatever..go Turner. hopefully Grandal will keep having decent ABs and Turner will drive in Grandal, AGon, and Ethier today. if Rollins isn't hitting by the time Puig comes off the DL..Puig should probably get the nod at the leadoff spot. at least for a little while.
