Adam Wainwright is in a walking boot after suffering an ankle/achilles injury. Hate to see that, but then again.... Nah, hate to see it.

I just saw the video of it too. Didn't look like anything bent, so that probably means he tore his achilles.

Even a strained Achilles is a painful fucking experience. Had it once. Hurt like hell. I can't imagine testing it. And seeing Kobe tear his and then stay in the game to shoot free throws was more than human.

Brandon McCarthy said he has had elbow pain for about a week, will get an MRI, is hoping it's just tendinitis

Yeah, and don't you think you should have said something when it started bothering you?

I'm not a Matt Kemp hater, and I wish the best for him in SD... but getting thrown from the game for arguing that pitch was just dumb.

I still love Matt Kemp and he will remain one of my favorite players. I genuinely hope he becomes that MVP type player again but I hope he does not have much team success.

That was a very fun game to attend

Also, hope McCarthy's injury isn't serious. He's obviously had injury problems but it's been shoulder and head related, so an elbow injury comes outta nowhere which sucks. He's had a bad stretch lately and so we deserve to also get his good stretch of games since baseball evens shit out, but if he's injured we won't get that

Also, idk the wind speeds but man that wind was fucking carrying the ball like crazy. Uribe, Kendrick, and Upton's home runs don't leave on normal nights

Good to see Grandal hitting the ball for bases recently. Some banging from him would be huge at his spot. Him going the other way is nice.
I don't know exactly what we do now as far as the SR; I guess scurry around like mice and play the up/ down/this guy/ that guy game we have been until (if ever) things quiet down.
I think giving a pitcher over 10 million dollars a year with the expectations of him going down at least once in the season with serious injury is as fucking stupid a move as an FO can make...no matter how many people lick their taints and call them brilliant. And I agree with Irish ; if McCarthy was experiencing something for a week or more in his elbow, then he should have mentioned it before it came to a crisis situation like it did...calling out the trainer in the middle of one of your HR frenzy games. How long do we deal with this with him now?
Someone should smack this motherfucker in his Bates Motel face and tell him it's a team...unless of course he did mention it, and was told by whomever..."never mind"...which is probably worse.
