I can't believe some of the moves this FO has made. Just mind blowing shit. Next level shit. Interested to see what moves are next if any. Hopefully this trade is complete soon cause from what I've read so far, we got a dang good one again!

That catcher Alfaro is ranked like 69 on mlb.com.. I think the Phillies got a good haul but I guess time will tell. I just want the FO to send Rollins over to TEX as well hahaha :D

Alfaro has 80 raw and an 80 arm behind the plate but lacks a bit of everything else. With that said he can develop into a very good catcher. Is he on seagers level? Fuck no fam

Man I want to keep Peraza so bad. Classic lead off hitter that we can slide in next after Kendrick leaves.

    Also we knew this but:

    David O'Brien@DOBrienAJC

If/when 3-team deal finalized, #Braves have Olivera for rest of this season and 5 more yrs at about $6-7M per. Dodgers pay his $28M bonus.

Boy, I did not see Callaspo holding and Olivera leaving. Get well soon, Turner.

Cardinals Agree To $1 Billion Television Contract

By Steve Adams [July 30, 2015 at 7:53am CDT]
The Cardinals have agreed to a new, 15-year contract that will continue to give FOX Sports Midwest exclusive rights to broadcast their games, reports Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The rights alone will guarantee the Cardinals more than $1 billion, according to Goold, who adds that the Cardinals will also receive a minority stake in the network that will add further revenue on top of that sum.

No fucking way the FO gives up Urias for a rental, even if they think they can resign him.

I don't buy it either. No one else in the running can touch what they have to offer in Alex Wood (maybe Houston, if they offer McCullers), having to give up the best player on the prospect side too would make no sense.

Nightengale trying hard to get out in front of something for once. Not that they should deal Urias for Price, but if they did, and then re-signed both Price and Greinke after the season, you're talking about 6 spots already claimed going forward after this year. CK-Greinke-Price-Wood-Ryu-McCarthy.

McCarthy probably won't pitch next year of course. If he does it'll be well into the season, but even if he doesn't Pablo Fernandez is being stretched out and that'd run the SR back to 6 guys anyway. CK-Greinke-Price-Wood-Ryu-Fernandez. Damn that's lefty heavy.

Anyway, not that Ryu or McCarthy ( or even Wood) couldn't be dealt to open a spot for Urias down the line. Just saying...that's a rotation that'd be under control until at least 2018. By then DeLeon, Alvarez, Holmes, Buehler and more could be coming as well. I guess what I'm saying is that even if they did deal Urias in this deal, that they'd be in great shape moving forward regardless. Pretty cool when you can say that. Hope they don't put Urias in this deal, though. Will give them the benefit of the doubt.

Well you know, they don't even have Alex Wood to give them (yet?)

Well yea, but I think the premise of getting a Price deal done is getting Alex Wood in this pending deal.

I've had multiple sources confirm that Bob Nightengale is a bonafide joke.

Imagine walking away from this deadline with Price, Peraza, Latos and Jim Johnson for Olivera, Paco and three random prospects?

Love how they give up a good, not great package for Cueto, but we'd have to give up Wood or Urias.

Even the Rangers didn't have to trade their top 2 prospects for Hamels.
